New price increases

I have just increased my prices to 6/10/15/19 and I'm loving it. Top wash includes Hot Wax. New ticket average is $10.89 labor is down!!!!. Are you guys also thinking about changing your prices?? Also my car count is up 18% this year

I increased my prices in January. Went from $5/6/7/8 on my IBAs to $6/8/10. Not a complaint so far and my margins are so much better.!!!!

$6 wash / spot free / dry (4 blowers)
$10 wash #1 + wheel clean / high pressure rinse / turbo dry ( 5 blowers)
$15 wash #2 + triple foam / rain x / tire shine / hand dry
$19 wash #3 + hot wax / bug prep

Customers pull back around to the front of the tunnel to receive the $15 / $19 wash. 2 employees working.

Im currently trying to convince the dealership im at to go back to 4 wash packages. In the past we offered 5/8/15/30.
5-basic wash no dry agent, no wheel cleaner, no underbody
8-dry agent, wheel cleaner, and underbody added
15- added triple foam, wax, and tire shine
30- included interior clean hand dry and windows

before i took over they eliminated the 5 dollar wash and went to 10/16/32.
we have also increased our Unlimited monthly club members from 300 to 500. this has inturn increased our wash count by nearly 20k a year, but reduced profit by a substantial amount. after reviewing all the numbers from 2011-2012, we lost quite a bit due to eliminating the basic wash. Our local competitor offers a basic wash at 7.50, but we beat them in price on all other washes including our unlimited passes, which they only offer seasonally while we offer year round. so im trying to convince the company to reinstitute our basic wash.

I'm not to crazy about the club plans. The only people it helps is the chemical supply company, water company, power company, and your equipment manufacture. We do have the fast pass but do not promote them.
