Fast and Clean
We had a problem with hub scrub motor and learned a replacement was between $6-700. It is just a 1/2 hp gear motor. On a whim I looked up rewind shops--called one in Beckley. I had always heard it is not cost effective to rewind small motors. I took motor in and it tested good but they were prepared to do an overnight rewind at about 1/2 the cost. Great shop--tested on the spot and ready to overnight it. Shop run by the same family in same shop since 1924 and they are booming with mining rewinds. No wonder they have been in business 86 years. Oh --are problem was bad overload.
