There are probably still some out there that think the mainstream media is fair and balanced. They probably also believe in the tooth fairy. As of today, Aug 1, 2008, there is no mention in the press or major broadcast about John Edwards leaving a hotel at 2:45 AM where his aledged mistress and love child had a room booked. Yes, it was reported by the Enquirer and they are the Jerry Springer of print media. There is a whole lot of corroborating evidence of this. Edwards, when he saw the reporters while trying to leave ran and hid in the men's room till security could escort him out. Now a republican taps his foot in a stall and is forced to resign. A prominate democrat is accused of fathering an illegitmate child ( a dna test could easily clear it up) and visiting the woman at late hours in a hotel. Not a peep. Probably too busy annoiting Obama.

I'm not a Democrat, but you gotta love their sexcapades! I really don't care if Edwards does have a "love" child nor do I careif he is meeting a woman at 3am.
The real problem is that the male Demo's are freaky with the girls and a republican came up dirty on a possible "gay" issue, "not that there's anything wrong with that" Thanks to Jerry S. and friends.
In most countries philandering, cheating and everything else is par for the course, here it is fodder for the media and depending upon who commits the act, either heroism or scandal will ensue!
Mac, just gonna have to get over it. The guy with the least experience who wants to "sit down" and negotiate with terrorist leaders will probably win and the country will really be screwed.
The only thing I hope comes out of this election is that 1) More people vote than ever before, 2)When "that guy" gets voted in and screws up, I get to say "I told you so" and 3) That we survive and a real candidate will run in '12!
