Middle Oscillating Blower Nozzle WW 1.0

I guess I have been luck keeping my middle oscillating blower nozzle working for over eight years on both of my WW 1.0's. I have replaced a few motors and that has always fixed them in the past. I installed a new motor in the nozzle controller today and it did not fix it and I am not sure how to troubleshoot it. A while back when I talked to my distributor and with JCC they said that most of these do not work anymore and that I would need to upgrade to their new style oscillator, I think they said it was around $1300 or so which is ridiculous. Anybody have any luck reviving this older style McNeil system? I will try to post photo of it later.Thanks in advance.

Mine only worked for a couple of years. They said to strap the nozzle down and keep going. I have heard about their replacement nozzle but noone around me has tried it and Im reluctant to do so without seeing what is all involved.
