"Metered time is way off" complaint

I have a weights and measures inspection every year, we give the guy a cup full of tokens and he disappears for an hour and a half. We are usually 2 or 3 seconds over on everything, and he writes it up that way so we usually just show the report when they complain!! I tell them that they are right our timers are off a bit, I give you too much time!! then show the report, sometimes they still complain saying "I always used to be able to wash my car for $2 here". I then say "when I was younger my wife and I USED to be able to go all nite", that usually stops the whole complaint on the spot!!! Good luck!!
