Magnetic Strikes

Hey guys,

Does anyone know of a good supply company that can source me with some strong magnetic locks for my dog wash doors? I'm looking at using the control by web web relay quad to open and close remotely.

Thanks,

John

I'll ask a friend tomorrow. He has climate-controlled storage with code pads to unlock main access, and he uses magnetic strikes to both hold the doors closed and hold them open on a timer.

Bubbles,

Any commercial door/glass place should have them. I too have the control by web devices, but they can only be controlled by MS Explorer :( So I can't control them with my phone.

Anyway, I would just use a regular 110v timer (like one you would control xmas lights with). Set your time and forget it (until a daylight savings time occurs).

You need to install a push bar to release the lock from the inside. In 6 years, nobody has ever got stuck in the petwash.

I’ve got a friend who has a Dog Wash and he got his door lock system from these guys’s. http://www.sdcsecurity.com He also has a push bar on the door.

At 9 Pm the Door locks and at 9:05 Pm the Alarm sets. The Door unlocks and Alarm goes off at 7 Am.
