I am rebuilding an old Magic Wand self serve pump rack (high pressure functions only - I will be installing new low pressure systems). I never operated the system and most of the piping and tubing was cut to prevent freezing so I am trying to piece things back together. There are three high pressure options (rinse, soap, and wax). I am installing a new tankless hot water system with a 30-gallon buffer tank to replace an old Weben-Jarco automatic circulating tank type water heater. The old water heater had piping plumbed into and out of the back side of the rinse tank to create a loop between the water heater and rinse tank. From what I can tell, cold water was fed into the rinse tank in the back top of the tank and the water discharged to the pump out the bottom front of the tank. Does anyone have a good plumbing diagram for how to reconfigure this system to work correctly so that the rinse tank can "call for hot water"? Do I even need the rinse tank any longer or can I bypass it? Do I need an additional pump or will the gravity feed from the rinse tank be sufficient to circulate water? How do these Magic Wand systems heat the wax and soap water? I apologize if these are dumb questions as I am fairly certain that I am making this more complicated than it needs to be.
