low pressure hose

I am going to replace all of my low pressure hoses. Does anyone have suggestions on what type of hose to get? Presoak, foam brush, tire cleaner are my low pressure products.

Thanks for helping

I recommend nylon tubing. It won't break if the liquid freezes, and it's usually rated for 250 PSI, which means it can handle a momentary pressure of 1000 PSI if a check valve fails. Black tubing will resist breaking down from sunlight; clear needs to be completely protected from UV. It's a lot less expensive than any hose and easier to work with, especially with the quick-release tubing fittings.

In Texas, the Parker stores carry a txdot rated poly tubing that will hold up better than most . They sell it as airbrake tubing.

several years back we replaced almost all of our low pressure stuff with Pex. i do not recall having any problems thus far with leaks, holds, cracking, etc.
