older pdq 4000 runs fine, occasionally after vehicle completes the wash and pulls up to dry entrance will read wash in use? reset with joystick and or jo works for many washes and fails again? t bar breakaway switch totally disconnected so no trouble there. jo sometimes faults with st wheel well rt. anybody have an idea?? only happens on very busy days..

Did you ever fix this problem?

If your using a Hamilton ACW try replacing the cycle inhibit relay in the upper right hand corner of the ACW, it should be marked “C I”

But don't just swap relays around, the cycle inhibit may have a different coil voltage than the others.

The Startup Test Wheel Well means that the X31 input was on during a startup test. This causes the machine to believe there is a vehicle in the bay. Unless you have 20C in your A5000 this will shutdown the car wash until it is forced to do a new startup test and sees the problem cleared.

If you have a treadle then you should check the bumper, wheel well prox and cable.

If you have a VT then check the stop eyes, cable and VT card.

Replaced today same issue continues to say drive forward, SOOO replace wired banners 03 and 04 all 4 of them pulled cables same issue jeez. Might just tear this location down after all not that profitable been troubled for weeks now:rolleyes:

replace the shear bolt and or take the lower arch off and bend it towards the front of the car. sometimes the bolt is bent just enough to block the front t bar eyes. hoe this helps

Bolt was bent as well as the lower 2ft of the arch , no idea who did that but must of trashed their vehicle too. Removed the arch took it in my shop had to set it up on my press and straighten. The backup eye was blocked. Customers are the worst and best at the same time. Thanks all
