Lamb Vac Motors...

Like allot of others I have been using the GS vac motors in all of my vacs. Now that they are discontinued I am going back to using the Lamb vac motors for now.

Problem is I don?t have the right screws for the Lambs.

I emailed Amtek asking them for the proper screw size, they .pdf?d me with the specs for the motor.

?Recommended screw size 10 ? 16 type BT or type 25 thread cutting screw, maximum penetration .685?.

I can?t find these anywhere online in small quantities, also checked the local hardware stores.

Anyone know where you can purchase this type of screw in small quantities?

Thanks..but look at this, it is the .pdf for the catalog page for that item #, it says it is a 10-24, but yet the page you provided says it is a 10-16. Part # 0143779

I tried using a 10-24 thread forming screw and it would not work, thread forming, not thread cutting, must be a big difference.

I'll call them tomorrow!

PS. I noticed they made changing the brushes on the lambs allot easier than they used to be, although I always thought the lamb motors were better, the brushes were always difficult to replace compared to the gs motors.
