Kleen-Vend Vendor question.

We have a Kleen-Vend vendor which we have been pretty pleased with. The other weekend, however, the machine's coin hopper got jammed which put the machine out of service. That wouldn't have been such a problem, except that the vendor doesn't disable the coin mech or validator when out of service. The same is true when you put the machine in maintenance mode to program or check on something. I watched our video cameras and noticed a littany of people deposit money before reading "out of service" on the display. Does anyone have a fix for this? I called Kleen-Rite a few days ago and left a detailed explanation for someone to call me back but to no avail.

Ah the joys of buying from a discount house. Kleen Rite is better than some, such as the big discount place in Florida where you have to tell the machine to speak in English, but they are basically order takers. The vender was made by Ginsan/IVS. Try calling them direct.
