We have some JC shampooers all 12 years old or so,and the stainless tank is leaking into the vac collection area. We always make our own repairs, but this one looks like it would require a replacement tank.

Where it is leaking, we have no acess to ,so that we could weld it. Also the tank looks to be very pitted.

My question ,any one have one they are trying to unload? or any ideas on repairing?

IIRC Coleman has a lifetime warranty on their welds. Obviously it cost you a couple hundred bucks in shipping to take advantage of this warranty, but in this case it may be the best option.

thanks for the reply.I did not know that. I have already made one repair because of the pitting of the tank,it was leaking right out the middle of the tank, into the control area.

I may check into sending it in, not sure yet. I made it into a vac only for now. I still have 2other shampooers at this location
