I've discovered the black box...

But I don't know what it's for

I am working on a Fragramatics fragrance/vac combo. I plan to install the Etowah CC system and eliminate the toggle switches and use a rotary switch instead. I also plan to eliminate the switch in the gun. That's where my "black box" reference comes in. There is a black box next to the transformer that the switch wires run to and also a couple more wires. I'm wondering what this thing does and if I can eliminate it also. I ran out of time to trace down the wires and it's also not connected to any power right now so I was hoping someone could tell me what it does.

I believe it's a relay for the compressor.

I wouldn't eliminate the sprayer switch. I had to bypass them on occasion on the guns that came with our Doyles, and it's really messy when people hang up the sprayer with it still running, not to mention wasteful.
