While sipping a nice scotch, it dawned on me how we react differently to something when it happens on different scales. For instance our benovalent government spends millions on controlling erosion. It's a big issue in the farm states. Yet when it gets really out of hand, we make it a national park. Ever heard of the grand canyon? A woman with a full head of hair is attractive to look at. Yet find just one of those hairs in your bowl of soup, and it loses its appeal. I'm sure there are more examples. Maybe I need some more concentration fluid.
