Inverted L turn In

Hello -

Having major issues with my In-Bay automatic - odd that the spray arm is turning in constantly on the right rear quarter panel of the vehical... It happens at times first pass, third, pass, fourth pass.. never consistant...

It is very random.. I could go through 10 cars and it will happen again - resets and will wash 10 cars and then do it again - Checked all my prox witch's and photo eyes appear to be working - Could this be a photo eye issue?

Has anyone else experienced this?

My unit is a PRO navigator inverted L ;;;

Please advise.

mine (not a pro) has a motor brake that stops the rotation. it needs occasional tightening.

sounds like the machine is not seeing the target (for the rotate prox).

is there an input card in the electrical panel you can watch while you manually rotate the machine? if so, look for the l.e.d. that corresponds to the prox in question and see if it appears to be working (lighting up when prox is over target) every time.

if not a prox, i have had cables go bad from rub thru etc as well as cable ends go bad.

The unit is fairly simple - which is a good thing - I expanded the target area of the trolly which has helped - washed a few cars this am without issue - I am wondering if it is my photo eyes -

I am going to disconnect the rear eyes and see if this helps the issue - if not..I can at least eliminate this.. Some have said it could be my frequency drives - I am hoping it is not my ribbon cable $$$$

Just baffeling me - It has been really inconsistant for me for about 6 yrs... many issues.
