My 4 bay ss interceptor tank has rotted away. the asphalt above has collapsed inside and I need to get a new tank and don't know where to start. what to install? How big ? Where to find it?

I’m not sure how big it needs to be, but we used concrete grave liners for pits a few years back. They should be readily available for funerals, so I doubt it would be much trouble finding one. Also, what about a septic tank?

Your municipality may have specific requirements and suggestions.
Search online for Sand/Oil Separators or Precast Concrete suppliers in your area.

Where are you located? I can recommend a couple suppliers in my area, but that may not help you.

It sounds like a major project. I’ve never heard of a “interceptor tank” at a car wash. What are we talking about? The bays pit tank or the oil water separator tank?

the oil water or oil separator tank. my current tank is about 30'x 4.5' seems excessive. for a four bay self serve

My oil water separator tank is a 750 gallon 3 compartment tank, I don't know the physical dimensions.
