information about activated carbon filters

Hi all:
I need to know how many gallons per minute are ok to run into my activated carbon filters in order to improve filtration.
I own and run a hand wash here in Mexico,
we use high pressure pumps to wash and rinse the cars,and I just add these activated carbon filters to my reclaim water system.
Any input about this will be helpful
