I have a hydrominder that has lost suction. Usually the adductor is the issue, but I replaced it and still no suction. What else can I check? It does have good strong water flow, so that isn't it either.
Did you remove the tip to see if there's suction on the inlet? It should have a very strong pull, enough that when you cover it with your fingertip it will pull pretty hard.
Make sure the tube is on the bottom of the eductor and that the ring inside didn't blow out. Any of that missing will cause a loss in suction.
I did remove the tip, that is the first thing I do as usually the issue is a clogged tip. I have had an issue once where it wasn't the tip or eductor, but I couldn't remember what it was. I think it was hose related but wasn't sure since it's been a while. Are you talking about a ring inside the eductor?
