I am having trouble with coins always jamming in the bottom of the hopper. We have 7 changers and one of them will be jammed ever few days. talked randy and he hadn't seen this before.

Your hopper probably needs a rebuild. If it is old, and has never been done, that is probably it. It will be $300-350. I just had all mine done cause of same issue. They were all 10+ years old. New motors and plastic housing (bowl) is now making them work like new.

This is a prime example of a jammed Hopper from a worn out Bowl

Over the years I’ve seen just about every jamming issue there is with the Hamilton Hopper and they can be very frustrating to say the least. There are a few things that jump out, a worn out bowl that has a groove worn into the bottom of the Hopper is usually the cause of most jamming issues. A weak motor will cause jamming issues, as will a worn motor mount. Using the wrong payout/coin wheel will also cause jamming if you’re using tokens or Dollar coins. Hopper jamming is really hard on the motor, the motor is designed to stop from the back of the motor by the motor brake, if it stops on the front end damage to the motor transfer case can result.
