Hamilton DRS Hopper Situation

This is a new one on me. One side of the changer was down. Thought a jammed quarter or sticky qtr etc. Opened the hopper up to this....which is my first time to encounter. Has this happened to any of you and how did you fix it? Tighten the quarter wheel down more?

That's an easy fix. The end play on the motor is to excessive. Remove the Hopper pin wheel from the motor hub to remove the coin behind the wheel. reinstall the pin wheel and then rotate to wheel around so you can get a Allen wrench into Allen screw that holds the hub on the motor shaft, loosen the Allen screw and reset the motor hub on the motor shaft. You might have to screw a screw into center of the motor shaft to pull it up a little bit. When you think you have it tight enough tighten the Allen screw. You want it tight enough that you can still turn the pin wheel by hand when your done. You've got one other option and that's to change the motor.
