Hamilton Changer issue

So a few days ago one side of our Hamilton changer was flashing when I opened it. I proceeded to remove the hopper & vacuum it out & wipe it down. I tried restarting it but it didn’t help. I then pulled the bill acceptor & wiped it down but it still didn’t help. The fuse (I’m assuming) is not lit like the one beside it & I can’t figure out why. I had a spare so I installed it but still the same. The flashes are giving me 2 on the bill acceptor, which says disabled from system. It’s an old Hamilton changer but has MEI 2000 acceptors. Luckily it’s a dual or I’d be in trouble. Any suggestions on where to start?

Here is one that you can see what I mean isn’t lit up like the one beside it.

Read the error on the controller. It will be a flash or flashes, a pause, then more flashes and a longer pause. Read the codes in the manual, just search c2000:

If it says hopper 3 whatever error, that's always the main hopper for that side.

Any time the validator is shut down by the controller it will act as it is now.
