Last week, my tech was doing his normal cleaning activities at my SS. He goes through the trash cans looking for bottles and cans to get the deposit. He found a wallet, and I asked him to send me a picture of anything inside. I discovered that he was a farmer outside of town after a Google search. I found an article that was 20 years old with his phone number. I called, and it was actually him. He dropped his wallet at the Safeway grocery store, and someone picked it up, took the cash, charged a few things on his CC, and dumped it at my wash two weeks later. He kindly asked if his military ID and pictures of his wife were still in the wallet. I confirmed they were, and he started to cry. He picked it up from us and was so happy. It's the little things in this business that make me happy. He gave my tech a new $100 bill and hugged him for finding it.
