Gitting the word to On-site staff

Is anyone using a systems that works for getting the attention of the prep guys or site guys at their wash?

We have asked them to stay off their phones/text for obvious reasons but then we can't get their attention if we need to talk to them.

For instance, both guys in the tunnel with equipment running can not hear me call on the phone to tell them they forgot to turn on parking lot lights. (normally on a time but a power outage had thrown the time relay out of sync) So it is totally dark on the front of our business and looks closed.

I can see this from my home or my cell phone because I can log in to remotely view my security cameras.

Who cares if you can't get the guy on the property to make the place look inviting, right?

Thanks MEP and Bigleo for the electronics ideas. We have a timer but the ability to control it off site would be great.

What about other attention grabbers? Do you use a flashing light or horn for the phone or for the office door? We do not have a kiosk person or writer who is on the outside front side of our wash, so if the prep folks or site guy get caught up in something, I need an eye or ear catcher.

There are lots of ways to do this...but I mostly SMS them. But you can use software to control a PC remotely (like VNC) and hook up and amp and speakers and remotely play a message you pre recorded.
