General pump cw 1551 question

waterway

Putting in a new pump tomorrow on my laser wash and have a oil question. I usually use 30w nd for my self serve pumps but when I looked on the gp pump oils specs it said to use gp 8090 oil. From what I can tell this is not the same as 30 w nd. Can anybody explain to me what oil I should be using for best results. I would rather not take a chance with a $3000. Pump thanks.

Pump is actually a 1541 for a laser wash 4000. Any other suggestions on installing this pump would be appreciated. First time installing a pump this big. Usually only do self serve

Since the pump is new and under warranty, I would strongly recommend the correct General oil. If there's a problem with the pump and you substituted a different oil, they might refuse to warranty it.
