I don't have any experience with the G2, but I was recently at a location where a new I5 was installed. That is their friction machine. I would suggest that you enlarge your criteria for evaluating a machine beyond the fact that it looks cool. The I5 was installed just a couple of hours away from the factory by Sonny's techs. To say that they were on the steep side of the learning curve would be the kindest thing to say about it. They had to make many, many calls to the factory to get it up and running. And when they did fire it up, they realized that the side arms were beating themselves up on the umbilical. Not being involved with the sale, it was kind of amusing to watch. And remember this was close to the factory. I can imagine the issues if it was in another part of the country with a new distributor.
