For Serious Mud Handlers Only

Wash Zone
I own a carwash in Canada and will be expanding it in 2013. Our current 3 automatics and two wand bays generate 400+ M3 of mud per year (no that is not a typo!) which we dry in a large cell prior to hauling to disposal. We do not use shovels or buckets to put it in dumpsters like some lucky wash owners....this requires Vacuum trucks, skid steers, excavators and dump trucks to deal with. We plan to install 10 more wand bays in 2013. Our water rates have gone up 150% over the past three years and are expected to go up the same amount over the next three. This is going to force us to reclaim our water which poses a big problem due to the high volumes of mud we deal with. The settling time required to clarify our water effluent for reclaiming is enourmous not to mention the work and large equipment required to frequently clean out the settling tanks and pits. I am looking for a continuous one step solution that will continuously separate the mud out of our effluent stream and put it in a dump truck box for hauling to disposal. Of course the separated water would enter a reclaim system for reuse. Turning away muddy customers is not an option....surprised me that some others on the forum do. The mud costs us a lot but we do huge volumes and charge accordingly ($25 for our top automatic wash). Sorry for the novel...

Does any one know of a cost effective centrifuge or other mechanical filtration solution that might meet our needs? Tks, Cam
