I have a 2 month old Flojet G57 that abruptly stopped. It turns out that one of the two "shaft slide" washers broke apart. These rubbery washers are only about 3/8 of an inch OD, but when they crack... the unit quits. You can buy an entire shaft and slide assembly for $70, but this is overkill for two washers that probably cost less than a buck apiece.
Does anyone know what they are made of....and where to possibly source?
