Can you all tell me which pumps are better, the flo-jet or the shurflo? I will be using them on presoak, whitewall-degreaser and foam brushes. I am currently using a couple flo-jets and Ingersol rand aro's.

Thanks for your advice, Terry

I like Flo-jets. Cheap to replace if needed. Make sure you use the Viton pump for caustic chemicals.

Note: Moisture in the compressed air Kills Flo Jets. If you have a single manifold feeding the Flo Jets put a self dumping water trap in the line before the manifold.

I wouldn’t use a Flo-jet pump on Tire Cleaner, Engine Cleaner or Presoak. We use a Procon pump on all the caustic chemicals. I’ve got a couple of Procon pumps that have been in service over 15 years, never been touched. The only place we use a Flo-jet is on the Foam brush system. We don’t have any driers or moisture separators on our air systems, never been an issue. It can’t get much more humid than here in Western Washington, it's wet here almost all the time.

I use Flo-Jets for all chemicals, however none of them are caustic.
