Energy Drinks

I couldn't find much on The Forum regarding energy drinks. Is anybody selling them? I have six selections for soft drinks in my glassfront vendor. The soft drinks aren't selling well for me. How do energy drink sales compare to soft drinks? What brand sells the best? For how much? Thanks in advance.

We sell Monster in the green can. We also vend 24oz bottles in the same machine. I buy the Monster for about $12 for (10) cans and sell them for $2.00 ea. They do not sell as well as the 24oz bottles, but don't know what I'd put in its place. I guess we've sold about 60 cans in 3 months. But thats been thru the winter months. Now that its hitting 80°+ here in Southern Ohio, it has picked up a little. My wife and I have decided to keep it till the summer months and see how well it does.

I like having my own machines. I can put whatever I want in them (Besides Beer:D) and don't have to worry about only vending either Coke or Pepsi products in the machines. I can vend both...Profits are much higher too!

at our location, energy drinks are very popular...doesnt seem to matter what brand, we sell amp, rock star, nos, and full throttle, and they all sell better than everything else, including water. I think the staff buys about 25% of them

I just added Monster (big can) for $2. We'll see.

Water is the highest profit and does okay.

Mountain Dew is my best seller, by far. Employees buy alot of it.

I have raspberry iced tea, Cherry Pepsi, Coke, Orange Crush, Root Beer and Sierra Mist.

My advice is keep mixing it up and finding what works. But you will sell Coke, Mountain Dew and Root Beer, as well as water and Monster. They all sell, IMO.

We tried red bull a few years ago, it didnt sell very well. And it seemed like we saw kids buying what did sell, which we were not very comfortable with. So we decided not to sell the energy drinks.
OK... we do sell gatorade, thats sort of an energy drink but I think different than what you are talking about. It does sell well.
