Electric Motor Maintenance

What maintenance do you perform on your electric motor? I hear that you need to grease the bearing frequently, if so how do you do it?

Usually I grease them only when is new, only 3 or 4 pumps, then again only is I hear a weird noise or is extremely exposed to moisture.

You should never pump grease into a motor, the bearing inside the motor are a sealed bearing. All your doing is pushing grease into the inside of the motor.
