Dixmor Weep Mizer Log..

In the log of the dixmor weepmizer:

A ?_ Log Data storage section
B LO -22? Lowest temperature recorded since last cleared
A HI -22? Highest temperature recorded since last cleared
A ON 0000 Number of hours water has run since last cleared
A IF 38? Average turn on temperature of normal weep system
A IF 0000 Hours temperature has been below average turn on
temperature shown above.

What is the first IF for? I never knew the value could be changed but it can. I always thought that the log kept a value that was caculated by the high and low temperature to show the average turn on temperature so you could see what you are saving in water usage.

Called Dixmor, the information they gave is that is is just an abitrary # that is stored in the log, when I questioned that he said they have to put some # in so they just put 38 in, also he said that no one uses it. This makes no sense.

The IF 0000 setting is the average temperature that an old bulb type temperature sensor would come on. If you subtract the IF 0000 Hours from the ON 0000 hours this will give you the hours of water that you have saved by using the weep mizer. Yes it is possible to lower the IF setting if you should have the need. I?ve never used that data for anything. I?ve looked at it a few times in the last 20 years.
