I have a D&S three selection electronic rear load vender and one of my selections will not drop product. I insert money and all I hear is a humming noise and then it stops. Any ideals what might be wrong?
The D&S venders use solenoids to actuate the shelf drop, not motors, and I would guess the solenoid is bad. To isolate the problem take the solenoid off and manually move the bar on the back of the shelf unit to drop shelves, if they drop then it is most likely the solenoid.
