I'm looking at a few different new IBA's to convert a SS bay and was wondering if anyone had any feedback on D & S i5000?
Thanks,
Kirb

There are 2 washes with them in my home town. They seem to work good, I haven't heard anything bad about them.

hey kirb i have the new i5 which replaces the i5000. Same machine but smarter and better design. there suppose to get it on there website soon and hopefully they read this because there website is very dated. Great machine and great company. I live about 20 minutes north of cincinnati and am very pleased with i5. My guy who installed it knows his stuff also. We installed in in july and it has been a money maker. No problems at all.

Can you give a ballpark what it cost? I have 6 D&S Super 5000's and need to start swapping them out over the next couple of years...they work fine but are becoming dated...also would like one that measures the car so I don't waste as much chemicals and water.

I have 2 D&S 5000s and really like them. Yeah they don't measure a car, but they just keep on washing cars days after day year after year. The new i5000 is something I'm considering if I can ever get one of my 5000s to wear out.

Yeah, I know what you mean.....two of our 5000;s were put in service in 1996 and two other in 1999...they are easy to work on and are like the duracell battery bunny....they just keep running....

Thanks for your replies. For the I5000 and DS5000 what’s your cost of operations per wash?
Thanks again,
Kirb

What is a I 5000? I have a 5000 thats about 9 years old, The worst part is when a truck with a big grille goes through and it quits in front, it has to be reset.
