Considered Largest US Wash
The Car Wash Operators of New Jersey?s (CWONJ) 11th Annual Carwash Tour is headed for the spectacular Cloister Car Wash in Sinking Spring, PA, April 28. The tour will also include a stop at Kleen-Rite Corp. in Columbia, PA, and a buffet lunch break. ?This tour is sure to please with a little something for everyone,? said Mike Prudente, CWONJ president. ?The Cloister wash is legendary. You won?t want to miss this tour!?
The wash, featured on the History Channel?s Modern Marvels and considered the largest in the US, includes a 220-foot tunnel and 213-foot conveyor; off-line full serve with a full-service lane, express lane on conveyor belts; a four-bay lube; Art Deco gift shop/waiting area design; 17 self-serve vacs; a stand-alone pet wash; four self-serve bays; a motorcycle wash; rain water collection and nine oil burners (oil used for heating, heating hot water and floor heat).
The event departs from the Crowne Plaza in Clark at 8:30am sharp.
