CryptoPay flashing yellow

Flashing Yellow: Out of Service Mode. Card reader will not accept a card swipe. All Self Service Bay and Vacuum card readers are shipped in this mode.

Does this swiper need to be activated by them?

It should not. As long as the coordinator/site is registered online then you can activate the swiper yourself through the portal.

When you install CryptoPay equipment (ie a swiper, a display), it needs to be activated with CryptoPay. Call their number, and they will call you back to activate the equipment. If you later add other equipment (ie a Tap), that also will need to be activated...they tie each piece of equipment to your account.

Thanks, I was asking for a friend who can't remember his own last name half the time. He was able to activate it through the portal.
