CryptoPay and ShurVend

Can I use this MDB Cryptopay swiper on a ShurVend? The MegaVendor is listed as compatible. I know the MegaVendor and ShurVend are both rebranded AMS machines. Would this swiper work with only certain software versions?

We have a tap plus on our Mega Vendor. Good question. Never tested it but seems to work great. Not one customer complaint about a charge for a product not received.
