Credit Card Reader

Does anyone who is using the Exacta In Bay Credit Card system have a part number for a replacement card reader. One of mine is on the frits and my supplier seems a little steep on price. I figure someone here should have a source for these. Thanks

What's a little steep on the price? Or is it just crazy expensive. What kind of reader is it? Any numbers on the back of it?

Hey Randy, $250 plus Tax which puts it at $282.50. Thats Canadian but still seems quite expensive for what it is. I'm new to this business so maybe I'm not yet in touch with the cost of certain things. There aren't any numbers on it but in looking on the internet the one's I see that look similar are made by Omron but are no longer available. Being in Canada everything we use up here comes from out of country!

Things like that are generally more expensive because there's proprietary software loaded in them. Hamilton sells the replacements for the D.A.N. system for about $460 - I can get them direct from IDTech for $120 but it won't work without the Hamilton programming.
