Credit card processing

I just purchased 2 self serve locations. They are both all cash right now. I am wanting to convert at least 2 bays at each location to CC. Looking for advice or recommendations for companies to use. I am located in South Carolina. Thank you

I started with cryptopay swipe in 2 of 6 SS bays. Slowly customers starting using it. But when I added 3 CryptoTap and one more swipe to make all bays CC capable, sales boomed. I mean doubled and all growth was CC sales. So do all bays and bite the bullet on the CryptoTap units. Been happy with their service and products.

I currently do not have internet at either location if that matters. I spoke to one company and they were at like 5.9% and I had to buy the machine. They ran off of cell towers instead of internet.

You need internet.
You need to be able to:
* See your wash remotely with cameras
* Take credit card pmts
* Activate a simple siren with a Feit switch (or equivalent) to warn away thieves, dumpers or loiterers
* Activate and monitor an alarm such as a ring alarm or similar
* Keep tabs on your bill changer

Starlink or Verizon's 5G Business Internet is a good option if you have utility obstacles.
I started having issues with d*ckheads running a sawblade through my swipers ($200 repair from CryptoPay) so I have moved to the CryptoPay TapPlus and am super happy with it. If tap is good enough for Home Depot, it's good enough for me.

We use Nayax and really like them. My Vpos units are in the worst possible location in the self service bays, get wet with every use, and have worked great for several years. of course, I probably just jinxed them!

I agree with the Nayax readers. You will need the correct timers to do count up, but they are pretty tough machines for the environment they live in and if you set your minimum credit card transaction at $5, then you only pay 2.5% fees. I've had a few go bad, but their tech support is getting better and they can fix a lot of issues remotely. They also run off of cellular technology so no need for internet right away, although, I would recommend getting cameras for security. Mine have paid for themselves many times over.

Thanks,
Lighthouse
