Converting SS to mini laundrymat?

A friend converted one bay of SS to a mini laundrymat and has a permit to do the other bay. He will then be 1 IBA and laundry w/vacs.

I am sure it depends upon the marketplace, but it would be more weather-proof than carwashing.

Has anyone else done such a conversion and if so how has it worked out?

I was actually thinking about doing that this very weekend! With 8 bays, I am quite over built for my area and I was thinking about how to better utilize my space (plus I am surrounded by apartment complexes!)

It would be expensive to convert, so I'd be fairly certain of demand first.

Does seem appealing...
