Convert a BRH-188 surface conveyor to a log chain?

Does anyone know if I can convert my BRH-188 surface conveyor to a log chain conveyor? Obviously I'd have to get new drive and take up sprockets and new dollies, but I'm mostly concerned with the C-channel. My BRH channel is fairly large, but the log chain fits in fine. It's a little sloppy, but I don't think it will get caught or pulled out...especially with tension on it.

Anyone have any thoughts that may help??
