This has happened to me twice in 25 years. Ryko SS pump bench with Baldor motor and Wanner pump but could happen on any equipment. When selecting any HP function in the bay the timer would reset itself and we would get no HP, I figured a draw on the 24 volt side of things and checked the water solenoids and they were good. It turned out that the 24 coil for the high voltage contactor was going out. It had been causing the timer to flicker for years but did not draw enough to reset the timer until now. I have had many burnt contactor on the high voltage side but rarely a bad coil for the contactors. I had a spare from a retired wash so up and running and now the timer does not flicker anymore.
