cleaning mirrors

had customer who had side mirrors that someone had used sharpie pen on and written all over the mirror. how might be best approach removing this?

I'd start w/isopropyl alcohol then bump up to plastic cleaner/polish if isopropyl doesn't remove it all.

3M Adhesive Cleaner will remove it if it can be removed with any chemical. I have yet to find any cured paint or plastic that it will harm, but I'd recommend testing it first. There's a chance that the Sharpie has etched itself into the surface, and in that case it'd be best to let the sun bleach it out.
