I have been an on and off meditator for years now.
When I am regularly meditating (once a day for 20 minutes), here's what I notice:
~ I focus better
~ I have more patience
~ problem solving is easier
~ life just flows better
~ I get along better w/my family
~ I drink less alcohol
~ More money goes in the bank
~ opportunities come my way
~ I exercise more
Meditating isn't easy for me. It's difficult. It's about training the mind to shut up, which is like trying to un-do years of conditioning to the contrary.
But to me it's worth it. If you'd like me to recommend a book that worked to get me into meditation, contact me.
