When the wheel brushes are running the cat pump seems to bump, has anyone had that trouble? I was wondering if the high pressure valve was not opening all the way or opening and closing or something like that.
I do hear my equipment thumping, but I can't tell exactly where it's coming from. I'm very hard of hearing and don't wear my hearing aids at the wash because I have ruined several of them because the mist (inside and near the entry) from the bays destroys them. But I definitely can hear some thumping or bumping. I suspect it is from solenoids opening and closing under high pressure and volume.

Maybe I can help here. I recently installed solenoid valves on my Cat 3535 instead of the the motorized air valve assembly. This is on a Futura Millennium system. If a customer pulls into the wash and gets the undercarriage function, then pulls onto the treadle, the pump "bumps" while making the changeover from the undercarriage to the gantry as the gantry solenoid valve is opening a split second after the car hits the treadle and the pressure is still going to the undercarriage. Got it?
