Cat 310s or Cat310?

What's wrong with the one you have now? If the head is washed out have it sleeved with stainless inserts. If you got many years of service from the original pump why not just replace it with the same pump?

You're talking $70 difference. Why not go with the one that will never wash out since you're buying a pump anyway? You'll pay something like $250 plus shipping both ways to get one sleeved.

The Cat 310 pumps have really gone up in price since the last time I had to buy one, $711.38 for the regular pump and $780.94 for the stainless steel head. I think the last time I had to buy a 310 pump it was $495.99. I’ve never had a 310 pump head wash out.

IDS is the only company I could find that does press in SS sleeving. They sleeved two of my 5CP2150w's 2 years ago for my wash, and so far I haven't had any issues. I will say that getting the high pressure seals into the sleeve is more difficult than it was before, but still doable.
