Car Washes Broken Into/Changers Hit

Over the past week, 3 Gainesvile, FL car washes have been broken into. All occurred during the day time.

One thru the ceiling, one thru the side paneling of an older metal building and one pried the door of the hinges from the door frame.

Locks to the changers were cut out to access coins/bills. All occurred even with stepped up police patrols of the area.

Car Wash Burglaries

That's horrible and makes you feel so vulnerable.

Four suggestions may help:

Alarm system with cell phone back up if they get in and cut the power.

Video Surveillance.

Use TOKENS instead of quarters.

Remove currency more often and remove all locks on the rear
changer door so you won't have to repair all that damage ever again.
