Bug prep

For those of you with a bug prep in your wash targeting bumpers and windshields, what type of chemical are you using:

Presoak?
Other high pH detergent?
Dedicated bug remover?
something else?

Also - if you wouldn't mind sharing the name of the actual chemical, I would appreciate it.
