Bubble in high pressure hose

I had to cut an end off of a high pressure hose in one of my self serve bays because it had developed a bubble near the reuse able hose end. Is this something that developed because it was installed improperly? Or is this just what happens when the hose end corrodes? I could not get the reusable fitting apart so I cannot inspect it. Are there stainless reusable fittings available or something that will last longer? This end is <5 years old.

The bubble is from the inter hose failing, probably from the reusable hose end or I should non-reusable hose end. I’ve never had too much luck reusing the reusable hose ends. They tend to corrode after a few year, 5 years is a pretty good life on one. I don't use them anymore. I found a good used Weatherhead hydraulic hose crimper for around $200 a while back, now I chimp on my own ends. I’ve seen cheap high pressure hose get bubbles on the hose from the inter hose leaking also.
