Blowing Plug out of Gauge.

One of my SS Pumps keeps blowing the plug out of the pressure gauges. Until that happens pressure seems Normal at 1300 PSI. IS unloader not dumping pressure fast enough when someone releases the handle on the gun or something else?

I'd have to guess that you got some bad gauges. Whenever I've had a gauge get hit with excessive pressure, the needle will no longer return to zero. I've had many leak out the plug, but that happens when the tube inside the gauge leaks, and I've only had that happen over lots of time. Pressure can do that, but if you're using a 2000 or 3000 PSI gauge on a Cat plunger pump, something should give before the gauge.
