Bill Changer freezing up

I have a standard 10 year old Hamilton dual bill changer. The outside coin bins were the coins drop seems to plug up with snow when we have a northern strong storm. It goes past the flapper values and packs the internal coin chute and coins will not drop. A heat gun corrects the problem. Is there a optional heater I can install or has anyone else experienced this problem? I do see 115V outlets in the changer machine itself. Thanks David

I installed a small cube heater in all of my Hamiltons. I run a separate power line into the back of the box.
